Geo Howard, BA

Operations Coordinator

Geo brings years of experience “wearing many hats” to his role as Operations Coordinator for Community Matters, where he oversees shipping, assists with bookkeeping and database support, and keeps the computers (and their users) happy.  Geo worked for over 15 years in the organic products industry as a distribution manager, inside salesperson and office coordinator. He has also held positions as a sous chef, high-rise window washer, radio DJ, and crisis intervention counselor.

Geo also plays an active role in the North Bay music scene - as a percussionist for African-style dance classes, guitarist with several recording credits, and as a live sound and recording engineer.

“I’m grateful to be using my business skills to give back to the community and to help promote positive development for today’s youth”, says Geo. “We are bringing the values of tolerance and respect to the leaders and citizens of tomorrow’s world. There is no work more important than this.”
