Raedene Simson

Office Coordinator

Raedene is a California native, born in San Francisco and raised with 3 younger sisters in Los Altos. After high school she attended De Anza College and majored in Early Childhood Development. She was a pre-school teacher for a few years, before moving into the corporate world.

After 26 years with Hewlett-Packard/Agilent Technologies she retired and searched for more fulfilling work in the non-profit sector.

She was thrilled when she found a posting from Community Matters looking for an Office Coordinator. “I am so happy to be working with such wonderful people, who are committed to such an important cause.” She finds that each day brings a new and rewarding experience and she looks forward to all the experiences yet to come.

“The most fulfilling job that I have ever had is that of a mom.” Raedene has been married for 19 years and has one fantastic daughter, a wonderful step-son and daughter-in-law and 2 beautiful granddaughters.
