Aurora Meneghello, BATraining TeamAurora Meneghello was born and raised in Italy before moving to Los Angeles after high school. While pursuing her passions for filmmaking and photography, Aurora started to teach Italian and fell in love with education. She taught adults and children of all ages in groups and privately. Through her classroom teaching she noticed how much other factors, such as school environment and self esteem, affected her students. When she heard of Community Matters and their Safe School Ambassadors Program, she felt she could make a significant difference in the lives of many young people. Empowering children and teenagers by showing alternative ways to relate to each other is a transformative tool she feels privileged to share with her students. Aurora Meneghello has a Bachelor’s of Fine Art from the San Francisco Art Institute and works as a photographer and a filmmaker in San Francisco. She is currently directing a documentary about student loans, keeping active in the education field and working towards improving access to higher education for everybody. |
