De Palazzo, MA
De is also a Senior Trainer for Community Matters’ Safe School Ambassadors program. She has trained hundreds of school youth in schools across the nation in conflict resolution and violence prevention skills. Youth and adult participants note De’s ability to connect easily with her audiences and create open, safe dialogue between and among her participants. De writes violence prevention curriculum as a consultant and contractor with various school districts across the nation, and has delivered peace building curriculum to youth and adults in Central America. Holding dual masters in education and in conflict resolution with a concentration in school system conflict, De is an activist and an advocate for marginalized youth and is committed to empowering young people in schools and universities, as well as adults, to become change agents for a more peace-filled world. |
De Palazzo is President of Perspectives Unlimited, Inc. and in this role delivers intercultural understanding workshops, anti-bias trainings and conflict solution workshops to community and corporate organizations. She has extensive training experience nationwide in the needs, issues and resiliency of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth, and has delivered training to many school districts, community youth agencies and at national conferences.
