Robert “Han” Bishop, Ph.D.Training Team
In 2007, “Han” attended a “Safe School Ambassadors” fund raising event in Santa Rosa, California and was so impressed with the testimonials he heard about these programs, that he offered to assist the Community Matters organization in any way he could. Not too long afterwards, he joined their training staff, and is now passionately committed to delivering as many SSA programs as possible throughout North America. “Han’ holds a Ph.D. from Northwestern University specializing in the field of Environmental Psychology. He is also a clinically certified hypnotherapist trained at the Institute of Transpersonal Studies. He has been a Peace Corps Volunteer in India working in high school teacher development, a Field Investigator for the US Environmental Protection Agency, and an International Sale Manager for a large multinational corporation. As a result of all this, “Han” has gained much experience working with people from diverse cultures all over the world. At present, when he isn’t teaching a Safe School Ambassador program somewhere, he is a substitute teacher for the Marin County school system, and has a personal counseling and hypnotherapy practice in San Rafael, California where he works with people (young and old) who are in transition, and looking for new directions in their lives. |
