Sarah Behm

Training Team

Sarah Behm spent her childhood years in Northern California before heading south to Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo where she received her Bachelors of Science in City and Regional Planning. During her four years of working and studying, she was presented with the opportunity to pilot a study-abroad program in Puebla, Mexico for a summer. That’s all it took to ignite her love of traveling and for diverse cultures. After graduation, she headed to Spain where she received an M.B.A. in Business Management and perfected her Spanish. During her 2 years in Spain, Sarah taught language skills at several English institutes throughout Madrid.  It was there that she discovered an interest in, and a passion for, educating and working with youth.

Soon after returning to the United States, Sarah was drawn to the mission driven work being done through the Safe School Ambassadors Program and felt passionate about being involved as a trainer. She feels deeply privileged to be able to inspire, and be inspired by, the youth who choose to become Ambassadors and refers to them respectively as “the heroes of today and tomorrow.”
