Teddy Wright
Training Team
Teddy was born in Kingston New York and raised by a family of strong and committed women in upstate New York. He attended Harvard University, graduating with a joint degree in African-American studies and Philosophy, and has been “cha(lle)nging” the world and orthodoxy ever since. His background in youth and family development, group facilitation and his direct and personal experience with foster kids, low income and homeless youth brought him to the Community Matters team as a trainer for the Safe School Ambassadors program.
Teddy has supported young people in communities, camps and schools from Boston to Miami and now lives in Seattle, Washington. His other areas of passionate focus are in the areas of ending men’s violence against women, children and other men as well as attending to the weighty task of catalyzing our children to trust their own greatness. He is determined to be a part of the movement to redefine our nation’s educational system.
