Expansion Combo Training and Support

“Yesterday, our 30 plus veteran SSA’s met with our 40 new SSA’s. When PA Ms. Plummer asked the students who was in charge of the SSA program, all of the current SSA’s yelled out, in unison, “We are!”. This was not prepared in any way, it was just a spontaneous response that represents what the students have felt for a long time.”

- Jack Valerio, Counselor
Martin County High School, Stuart, FL

For schools that do not have the time or money to conduct both a two-day Expansion training AND a one-day Refresher training, we can conduct a two-day Expansion Combo training.

An Expansion Combo training is similar to an Expansion Training in that it largely replicates the initial training. The first one-and-a-half days are designed for a group of students and adults NOT previously trained.

For approximately three hours on the second half of Day Two, previously trained, experienced Ambassadors join the group of new Ambassadors. This training segment provides an opportunity for previously trained Ambassadors to quickly review their skills and connect with new Ambassadors, while giving new Ambassadors a chance to practice their newly acquired skills and gain insights from those with experience.
